2025
Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Grand Marshal
Christopher Rinn
Christopher Rinn serves as President and CEO of VNA Health Group, one of the nation’s largest and most trusted non-profit providers of home health, hospice, and community-based care. Under his leadership, VNA Health Group’s 2,300 dedicated professionals provide compassionate, life-changing care to over 125,000 individuals annually, delivering more than 1.5 million patient encounters.
Christopher’s life is defined by his commitment to service and community. He serves as Vice Chair of the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County’s Board of Directors, is a former councilman for the Borough of Fair Haven, and supports many local charities and non-profits.
Christopher’s Irish heritage has been a lifelong source of pride. His maternal great-great-grandfather, John McIntyre, immigrated from Ireland to America through Castle Garden, the country’s first immigrant processing center before Ellis Island. Christopher reconnected with his heritage during a 2022 journey through the Emerald Isle, traveling across the country from Ballyheigue to Dublin. These deep ties make his role as Grand Marshal of the 2025 Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade especially meaningful.
Beyond his community ties, Christopher is a visionary leader in public health. He has secured millions in funding to expand healthcare access, strengthened home health policy through advocacy, and led transformative initiatives at VNA Health Group. His previous roles include Acting Health Commissioner for New Jersey and CEO of VNACJ Community Health Center, where he expanded healthcare access across Monmouth County.
Christopher holds degrees from Columbia University and Seton Hall University and credentials from the Harvard Kennedy School. His accolades include the NJBIZ Health Care Hero Award (2023), the Good Scout Award from Monmouth Council Boy Scouts of America (2023), and the NJ Commissioner of Health Award of Excellence (2015).
Christopher resides in Fair Haven with his family. As Grand Marshal of the 2025 Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade, he looks forward to celebrating Irish heritage and the vibrant spirit of the Greater Rumson community.
