☘️Lucky the Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt☘️

Get ready for an exciting adventure leading up to the 2025 Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Thanks to Dr. Matt Miranda, an incredible art teacher from Forrestdale, we now have our very own parade mascot--Lucky the Leprechaun! Lucky is spreading Irish cheer all over town, and it’s your job to find him!
This special event is open to ALL kids, from our newest local residents (babies are welcome if mom & dad want to snap pics!) through 8th grade.

How To Play

Get ready for a fun adventure leading up to the 2025 Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Lucky the Leprechaun is hiding in local businesses, and it’s your job to find him!
How to Participate:
  1. Grab Your Flyer (in person or virtual)! – Starting February 20th, pick up your scavenger hunt flyer at the Rumson Library, visit our website (www.rumsonstpatricksdayparade.org), or check our Facebook & Instagram pages for the list of participating businesses.
  2. Find Lucky! – Visit at least 8 businesses between February 20 – March 6 to spot Lucky. He could be hiding in a window, sitting at a counter, or placed in a fun display!
  3. Snap a Photo! – Take a picture with Lucky at each business you visit.
  4. Check Off Your Locations! – Mark off each business on your flyer once you find Lucky.
  5. Create Your Poster! – Show off your scavenger hunt adventure by making a handmade or digital poster (regular 8.5x11” paper). Be sure to include:
    • Your Name, Age, and Contact Information (Phone & Email)
    • A creative display of your Lucky adventure (photos, drawings, or fun decorations!)
  6. Drop Off Your Poster! – Bring your completed poster to the Rumson Library by March 6th to enter the contest.
  7. Win Prizes! – Winners will be randomly selected and announced on March 9th (Parade Day!) on our Facebook & Instagram pages!
